Featured Project

Los Angeles’ First Public Art Biennial
July 16 – August 14

Presented by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs Public Art Division, the CURRENT:LA WATER public art
biennial uses contemporary art as a platform for the exchange of ideas around critical issues our city faces together.

As part of CURRENT:LA’s public programming, the Art|Sci Collective is collaborating with evolutionary biologist Charles Taylor
and nanoscientist Olivia Osborne on interrelated programs hosted in two interconnected locations in Los Angeles—both of which
will focus on the interdependence of water and local ecologies:

Art|Sci will be kicking off their water programs with the July 19th workshop at the Del Rey Lagoon, which will happen in conjunction with Bird Song Mimic in New York.
